Wineshoeing!

Every Saturday (during business hours),  you may bring your snowshoes out to Maple Moon and enjoy the rustic trail (weather dependent). Don't have snowshoes? Rent them at Bear Cub Outfitters in Petoskey!

To start off the snowshoe excursion at Maple Moon; visitors may start off with a glass of wine, which they can enjoy while admiring the vintages and indoor displays. It is a great chance to warm up your soul and taste one of many exceptional wines. After polishing off the first glass, it is time to suit up and strap on the snowshoes. Tree Tapping Ceremony

Times available:   8:30 or 10 AM

 

March means it’s time to “tap” into spring! Tree-tapping marks the official start of maple syrup season. Visiting a sugar shack is pretty much a right of passage into Spring. For  $5.00 per person, get hands-on experience as you learn how to draw your own taps collect the sap and discover how the process of making real maple syrup begins.   Learn about the history of “sugaring-off” and settle in for some hot pancakes slathered with real maple syrup.
